Welcome to The Liver Dog – the UK’s growing directory for dog-friendly businesses and venues. This Membership Policy outlines the benefits, terms, and usage limits associated with our membership tiers and add-on packages. All listings are managed via our Directorist-powered system.

1. Basic Membership (Free)

  • Standard listing format
  • 1 image
  • 250-character business description
  • Contact info and website/social links
  • Booking link
  • User reviews enabled

Note: Basic listings receive standard directory exposure and appear below premium tiers in search results.

2. Premium Membership

  • Premium layout listing
  • Up to 5 images
  • 500-character business description
  • Contact info and website/social links
  • Booking link
  • User reviews enabled
  • Enhanced directory exposure
  • Priority listing placement in:
    • Up to 2 categories
    • Up to 5 locations
    • Up to 5 tags
  • Access to performance analytics

3. Enterprise Membership

  • Includes all Premium Membership benefits
  • Up to five linked listings under one account
  • Custom distribution of categories, locations, and tags across listings
  • Advanced performance tracking for all listings

💼 Marketing Add-on – £150

Boost your brand presence with our optional Marketing Package:

  • 1 advertorial blog feature on theliverdog.co.uk
  • 1 promotional post on our Instagram
  • Featured in our paid homepage carousel
  • Placement in our subscriber newsletter

📆 Yearly Marketing Package – £500

Includes 4 full Marketing Add-ons per year (save £100).

🔒 Terms & Conditions

  • All memberships auto-renew monthly or annually (depending on your plan).
  • Listings are subject to approval and must comply with our submission guidelines.
  • Premium and Enterprise members are responsible for keeping listings up-to-date.
  • Marketing Add-ons must be used during an active subscription period.
  • Priority placements are managed algorithmically and refreshed regularly.

⚙️ Dashboard & Support

  • Manage listings, upload media, and view analytics via your Business Dashboard.
  • Pre-added listings can be claimed via the “Claim This Listing” feature (requires verification).
